The engine includes (from 2.0.1) a tool that allows the simple instantiation of different gameplay elements such as: Doors, Cameras, Interactables,….
This window can be accessed from the top bar: Horror Engine→Level Design Tool
By default, the tool has selected default palette included with the template. Most of the important prefabs described in this documentation can be instantiated by using this palette.
Additionally, you can create your own palettes with game-specific prefabs.
You can create a new palette by right clicking on your Project View and selecting Create→Horror Engine→Design→Prefab Palette
This palette will show up automatically for selection on the dropdown of the tool if ShowInTool is checked. If the palette doesn’t show up try closing and opening the tool again.
You can add additional Subpalettes to an existing palette to organise the content into categories.
